Preventing Pregnancy Naturally #2

How Can I Recognize My Baby Days?

This is what women body does monthly; it produces blood for few days (menstruation) and her vaginal produces ‘mucus’ some days after the monthly blood flow.

The mucus is like the colorless liquid in raw egg. But Unfortunately, many women only know about the blood and fail to notice the mucus.

But if a woman is observant enough, she would discover that after her menses; her
bleed days, the part immediately after the vaginal, called the Labium minora (‘inner lips) will look dry. Then after a few days, those lips change to wet. That is mucus.
The amount of mucus is so small that she may not see it, but will definitely notice it.

The mucus makes the lips wet and slippery. She will notice it as she walks and this happens all day for few days.
After this, the lips became dry again for about two weeks, then there comes the
‘bleed’ days; the menstrual days.

The mucus days are also referred to as the time of ovulation among some women.

A woman may ask;
 “If you are saying that my inner lips will turn wet, do you mean a wet feeling inside the vagina?”

No. I mean a wet feeling on the ‘inner lips’ which are outside the vagina. The inside
of the vaginal is always wet just as the inside of our mouth is always wet, but the
inner lips feel dry on certain days and wet on other days. When those lips feel wet, that’s mucus.

Women may also ask;
“During loveplay (the short period before the love dance) with my husband, my inner lips get wet. Is that the mucus you are talking about?”

No, that’s not mucus. On mucus days your inner lips feel wet every hour of the day, not just during loveplay.
It’s very good for women to know their mucus days because those are the days when pregnancy is possible.

Happy is the woman who knows when she is having a mucus day. She can say to her
husband. “Today is one of the days when I can get pregnant. Let’s make love today.”

Or, if she and her husband don’t want pregnancy, there will be certain days each
month when she can say to him, “Let’s have sex. Today I cannot get pregnant. I know so because I’ve had no mucus for several days.”

Unfortunately, many women don’t have such knowledge. The only thing they know is, “Each month I have some bleed days, but I don’t know on which days I can get pregnant. If I have sex today, could I get pregnant?....... I don’t know.”
Such ignorance is terrible. Women need knowledge!

To get pregnant, do this: After your bleed days, notice each day whether your inner
lips are dry or wet with mucus. Then, each evening write the word “dry” or “mucus”
on a chart.
The chart above was made by a lady named Ruth (Cortesy: Bruce&Carol Britten).
Doesn’t matter if Ruth will be having a long or short menstrual cycle, her “Baby Days”
will always be
• All her mucus days, and
• The 3 days following her last mucus day.
A woman can get pregnant on any of her Baby Days, but some Baby Days are better
than others. The ‘best days’ for getting pregnant are:
 The last day of mucus ("very wet mucus” day).
 The next day (“nearly dry” day).
Since Ruth wants to get pregnant, she and her husband should be sure to have sex
on her two ‘best days.’
